I need help with a plant. Cyclamen?

http://www.genrichs.com/CYCLAMEN.htm

How exactly am I suppose to water it? According to these instructions it is very confusing. Also I live in Texas and the temperatures are never ideal for this plant how do I keep it cool? It's important to me to keep this plant alive please help. This is an inside plant right?

I already watered it from the top once will this automatically kill it?

It will not die from the one mistake. You will have a hard time keeping it alive but you can do it. Set it water for 10min. at a watering.
Reply:Cyclamen tubers are only half-buried in the potting mixture, and water should never be poured onto the tubers. Plants can be watered from below by placing the pot in a shallow water-filled container. This permits the potting mixture to take up as much water as it needs. After ten minutes the pot should be lifted out and allowed to drain. Cyclamen love to be well watered and allowed to dry out slightly between watering. that is what the page says to do i would just get a small dish and fill with water and put the pot that it is in in the dish and let the dirt get moist. i would put it by the a/c vent that might help it say cool. during the winter that might be hard. and i dont know if that would kill it watering it over the top. man did u get a picking plant. well good luck hope u can get it water some how. and dont kill it i would ask a nursey where u live if they can help u with it. they might know. or know someone how would.
